Hey everyone, I'll guess I'll just jump in here .. I finally made some time to dig through this site - up until 2am reading stuff in the Learning Center and now have lots of idea's, not sure if thats good or bad

Now I found a WA thread, not sure what else to say except "I'm in WA too" lol We're in Cougar .. In the process of adding a new/bigger duck house/area. Hope to have the house put together today, would love to have it all finished but let's be real- 3 kids, an overgrown man-child, 2 dogs (one of which never ever ever leaves my side), 8 hens and 2 ducks with 2 ducklings ... I don't get to do anything without being asked a million questions, so it'll take a week to get the whole thing set up!

ANyways - I look forward to chatting & learning ... hopefully I didn't interrupt too much of your convo

Well hello there I am in Mossyrock love the small town we are in but your in one also
had baking to do after cleaning my chickens and running two of dogs around a while

Off topic, but we have 2 1 1/4 does for sale, half Nubian and half reg. Boer...they are awesome healthy & ready for fall breeding. We have decided to sell, and maybe travel more. He talked me into it.
Any interests, PM me.

We are selling off alot of birds, too.



I am keeping the Sulmtalers, Barnevelders, and Swedish Flowers, though.

a funny !!!

My friend and I walked into a bar near the airport. As we sat down, the bartender brought us two bowls of nuts. He asked if we were pilots. We said “no” and he set the beer nuts on the table and took away the regular nuts. I asked why he did that and he replied, “Y’all aren’t pilots and these here are plane nuts.”

Tonight, under the cover of darkness.......I must creep out into coop #A and remove 6 Blue Ameraucanas, and pack them in assorted crates.....Then, I must creep into Coop#B, and remove 6 Black "funny face" Ameraucanas into the assorted crates....all birds going into different crates according to the orders, all in darkness, and have all people showing up by 9 am to pick their birds up in their crates..........
I am tired already~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So finally replaced the roof supports that were destroyed by snow last winter. It only took an hour to measure, cut, and assemble.

Not bad at all for 5 pieces of pvc. I have wide gorilla tape to reinforced the tarp with before it goes up.

Just need to moved 3 of the fence panels back into line. That will straighten the roof up. Then I can make any needed roof adjustments.
