I have old wooden juice crates and a metal 4 hole nest box on the wall

This was one we already had, so it didn't cost anything. The shoebox was kept for the sole purpose of using it in Lizbeth's pen.

the old juice crates I bet are great going to put another shipping crate on the new coop will have one box on the floor broody but may use buckets in there as Silkies being so small wouldn't break all of them would they

My silkies live in dog houses and make a nest in the corner. The low prefab coop I bought is much the same. They sleep in the nest box the silly things

Hey everyone, I'll guess I'll just jump in here .. I finally made some time to dig through this site - up until 2am reading stuff in the Learning Center and now have lots of idea's, not sure if thats good or bad

Now I found a WA thread, not sure what else to say except "I'm in WA too" lol We're in Cougar .. In the process of adding a new/bigger duck house/area. Hope to have the house put together today, would love to have it all finished but let's be real- 3 kids, an overgrown man-child, 2 dogs (one of which never ever ever leaves my side), 8 hens and 2 ducks with 2 ducklings ... I don't get to do anything without being asked a million questions, so it'll take a week to get the whole thing set up!

ANyways - I look forward to chatting & learning ... hopefully I didn't interrupt too much of your convo
