It's very quiet here. The tv is muted, #1 son is asleep in the recliner with Jake snuggled in next to him.
We actually had the T-day meal yesterday. My sis has to work today, so we celebrated yesterday.
I did the meal, she did the pies.

I forgot to close the gate to the chicken run last night

My DW got up at 7:00am and looked out the window and my flock was free ranging in the field

I never got out of bed so fast in my life. But everyone was accounted for

Just weighed the lanky 22 week old Brahma cockerel. He's at 8 lb 3 oz. Just think of how big he'll be for next Thanksgiving! Wouldn't need a turkey. lol

I may need to make him a little turkey costume and take a picture of him for cards next year. He puts up with so much, I could get some good pics.

I am Thankful for my family. Yes you people are my family and I am so thankful for each and every one of my BYC and FB family members.

If you have relatives please try to accept them for who/what they are. However if they decide they don't want to accept you. Try what I have done. Pick up the pieces and move on. Trust me there are way too many very kind people to waste your time with those who don't want you in their life!!!

Wise words, CR. Life is too short to be around those who don't understand, appreciate and accept you for who you are.

I hope everyone in my BYC family is having a wonderful Thanksgiving and I am grateful for all of you.
