Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

No she didn't manage to get them in the coop for bed, or even in the tub nest. She didn't even try. Just parked her butt close to where she is in picture. I couldn't get her to go up the ramp until I grabbed all the chicks and enticed her to step in. Then I put the chicks in with her.

👋 Hey y'all - thought I'd cross-post this here for more attention/help from WA folks. I'm looking for a new home for my 6wk Black Copper Marans chick - hand-raised and healthy as a bell, but unfortunately I overcommitted on chicks and legally need to find a few of them new homes.

Thread with more info: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...me-for-a-6wk-old-black-copper-marans.1471809/

And a sneak preview picture!

I can relate. I'm currently trying to work out the details of having over-chicked this spring. I'm sunburnt from assembling a new portable coop all day yesterday, and still worried I haven't gotten the runs right and will have my timing wrong on who needs to go where when!

Fingers crossed she will be an easy re-home.
