This is a lovely photo! Would you consider entering it in the 2022 calendar contest?

I took it with the cell phone. I don't think the quality is good enough for the calendar. I need to get my laptop working so I can take good pictures again. I have a nice dslr camera. Well actually 2 even though one is older. I've been thinking of playing around with the old Pentax that Mom gave me as well. Traditional photos still turn out better but suck for contests.

Yeah we have our cell phones with us when most opportunities for the shots come up. It’s not like you can tell the chickens to “wait! I need to change lenses!”

Okay down to 14 in the main coop getting like 8 or 9 eggs a day only one rooster now

I almost always take pictures sideways in landscape. It's only upright for portraits and that's rare. Usually when I'm taking a chicken picture for my wallpaper.

Video is always sideways because nothing irritates me more than people who can't take videos properly.

Can I just say for spring the last 2 days have been gorgeous and amazing!! Really hope we have a sunny and warm summer here in Western WA! Anyone else enjoying the sun and heat?

Everyone enjoying a salad to help cool off yesterday, today I gave them some Honeydew and the devoured it! Haha

Just finished getting myself set up for Dollar Tree. The manager will be calling me tomorrow to talk about when I actually start my first day. I also learned I'm going to be a PT Cashier so I'm really excited!

Anyone here use to be a cashier at any store that could give me some tips?

Aside from the counting money, everything else was told to me by the manager during my interview 2 weeks ago.
