8 out. I love Molly. She lifted up so I could put chicks under her as soon as she heard them.

Other people have to sneak chicks under hens at night. Me in daylight "Look what I brought you!" Hen "Gimme! Mine!"

Ive had a few like this. Molly's great grandmother would get up and try to get into the box of chicks as soon as she heard them. Had to quickly put a chick in front of her to calm her a little.

I can do that with Dirt my largest silkie she will raise up when she hears them clucking at them it is so fun to give her chicks

Please be aware the illness that dogs in Washington and Oregon get called Salmon poisoning.. Do not let the name fool you they bug they lay on is on fresh fish also and do not need to touch the fish even.. But will kill without fluid therapy and antibiotic to fight secondary. now until October it can flourish

Yes. Last two eggs died. 12 is pretty good with shipped eggs.

I spent my evening yesterday catching a bee swarm, so it severely limited my chicken time. Boooo. But yay for keeping my bees in my bee yard.

Yes. I had two hives and one of them swarmed. They went directly to one of the fence posts that surround my bee yard to regroup and I happened to see them. I pulled them all off and put them in a bee box, so hopefully they'll stay.
