They are listening to Molly pretty well. I'll put them with the other silkies tomorrow when she'll be out of her "park in front of the food and water" phase.

Lovely Flock you have! You were smart to get oyster shell when you did. It’s been hard to find lately. The girls (and the stupid cockerel) are 14 weeks old today! Went out this morning to give them a little leftover Chinese food (mostly celery) and found 2 paper eggs! Got the oyster shell dug out of the old coop (I bought a 25-lb bag a decade ago and still have most of it), put some in an “oops” bucket (I cut too many feeder holes and they wouldn’t all fit)…and now all 14, including the cockerel, are going to town eating oyster shell. My almost 9 year old keeps asking if it’ll hurt the cockerel, but I keep telling him no.
I don’t have the nest boxes yet, thought I had a month or so before I needed them! Time to whip something up from what we have laying round!
I don’t know why I bought so much when I did! I only had 3 hens back then. Lol. Definitely glad I have it now though!Lovely Flock you have! You were smart to get oyster shell when you did. It’s been hard to find lately.
Thank you. Now, when I get out of this I hope I can find it again.@Bonnie in western WA come on over!
