[Sequel]

They talked of snow at 4 thousand feet .. Sadly we almost never get snow. We at like 1000 feet here.
Fun to watch the birds they will not walk in snow either.

I just checked my elevation. 80 feet. When we do get snow it is terrible with all our hills.

Got our wiring redone today and got both outdie and inside cameras up! Tomorrow, I'll install the new light I bought (soal just wasn't working...why did I think it would?) and a timer so it's on so that I can see in the coop better (night vision kinda sucks).

Better half gave us a new breaker and wire to the coop burried about 2 years ago I think it is worth it's weight in gold

That is way cool! I think I’d like to have a camera or two out there, I have power but just haven’t thought out what kind or where to put one or them.

We converted a 2-story shed into a coop, my husband has all the network and power going into the top floor, away from the chickens.

The coops here of wood are old shipping crates from Furniture and medical equipment. Have to get new pictures as the silkie coop just grew up.. Your able to stand in all of it now

I finally was able to try these yesterday. They are called Baked Potato Squash. They actually do taste like potato. If you whipped them with butter and a bit of salt, it would be hard to tell the difference. Hubby even though they tasted like potato.

Because they are squash, they have less carbs and calories. Mom is really wanting to try since her and Dad are diabetic and count carbs for insulin.

I saw them last spring when I made my order and curiosity got the better of me.

I'll be ordering earlier though this year as some things I wanted were out of stock.
