Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

My girls weren't sure what to make of the frozen peas and corn. lol They have some nice wet forest plants to pad through now. It really isn't too bad out where they are. I freshened their waterers. You know how, when they are hot, they stand with their wings out? They aren't even doing that. Thank goodness for trees!!!

Little hot out side foe our chickens so I made frozen grub worms as a cool down. Took a muffin pan filled each one with grubs and added water talk about a boredom buster!!

Talk about perfect timing, we had A/C installed in the house today. The guys finished just around lunch time, so we've been enjoying the cooler temps inside since then.

A few chickens were panting but most were doing fine. I usually refill their pans of water morning and afternoon on days like these.

I love that idea do it with meal worms

I have been bringing frozen water bottles, for them, not the lay boxes, but they will sit in the shade near them. And I brought cold water-ers of fresh water. I am dumping it all out tomorrow and filling with cold fresh water because they stand in the waster bowls.
