Do you think I can put all the shavings from my coop cleanout today into the yard waste? It's just wood, right? (And a little poo of course) I'm only cleaning it because I want to avoid mites.

One can only hope! Mine are so desperate to go out they make a break for it everytime I open the run door. This morning a few got out because I wasn't paying attention and so I had to let them all out. They won't go back in no matter what I do and ever since I got a roo the girls don't squat for me. So it makes them hard to catch. So I let them ot for a half hour and then coaxed them back in with meal worms. I hope to let them out later too. And clean coops tomorrow.

Or maybe today if it stops raining.

Good plan, Good plan. Some cooperation from the weather would be good.

I do make liquid soap! However - it takes at least 48 hours to make, and I'm not sure I have any on hand now? I will check when I get home =)

Question about your soaps. I am highly allergic to smells. It puts me into asthma. Fabric softeners, scented soaps like Irish Spring, deodorants, Fabeeze almost kills me. This is really a problem in this overly scented world. Could your soaps be used by someone like me? Just discovered that I am allergic to the water at my other home in CA after one shower there after being gone for 6 mo. made my head break out in the old rash that nothing would get rid of but was gone up here on well water. I am super sensitive.
