Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I wanted to let y'all know that we have fallen in love with and use Dawn's soap and lotion products EXCLUSIVELY in our home. They're the only soaps that don't make us itch! LOL  She is extremely reasonably priced for home made soaps and I highly recommend her products! Hint hint...she'll be at the Bothel Feed Center on Saturday if you want to arrange to buy stuff from her ahead of time!!

You are so sweet, thank you!  :hugs

I will be at the Bothell Feed Store at 11 or just before - please let me know if there is anything you'd like!

I'll also bring samples :D

Dawn --do you make a liquid lavender hand soap? I would like some...I'll be there around 11 also.

Quote: Did you candle them and all are developing? 100% hatch rate would be amazing!
NOPE NO candling. I was advised by one of the breeders to just let em go. Since the BCM are so dark and VERY hard to see. She said she has had better % by just leave em alone !!!! Trying to follow one's own advice IS NOT always easy. I really wanna try to look but it's too late now we are locked down. And to make it easier. We are going to visit T Hi Sunday. I am giving her all of my blow up Christmas decorations (that she will take) for her yard. Went up last weekend for a little bit of a combined Bday see it was a bit late for Toni and a bit early for her DD. And we got to meet the awesome new little man Dyson. I also helped Toni put a few out door lights out.

Well, phooey. Blossom is still with us, but on the other hand I just had a crown and peg come off a tooth I had a root canal on maybe twenty years ago?
Phooey, phooey, phooey: I have to go to the dentist, phooey phfui.
You have my utmost empathy and hopes for a quick and easy non-memorable experience! Dentist stuff : They actually sedate me before I even leave the house.

The sedating before even leaving came about when the dentist asked me what my best possible dentist experience would be. I replied "Like animals on a refuge. I'm out there doing my thing, hunting antelopes or chewing cud or whatever, and OW! as a dart enters my neck. Hours later I wake up and have a radio collar on, a number painted on my side, and all medical work completed." And this is what they strive for with me now.

I am phenomenally fortunate for many many reasons, but this is a big one about how awesome Spouse is. She makes the appts and takes me.

(Blame my orthodontist when I was in Jr. High. He made my dealings with dental anything become pure terror. Like 210/120 & HR over 100 sort of terror. Last time they had a bunch of work to do on me so they gave me that date-rape drug. Apparently I am quite the comedian on that stuff and won't STFU. ROTFLMAO I remember nothing about the entire day.)

Oooop's OK to clarify I should have said UP TO 26 chicks. While I know there is slim chance of 100% hatch. That is the potential # I could end up with.
In our breed (Clumber Spaniels) it goes like this : Two (or more) of our females come into season about the same time. If we only breed one = no pregnancy. If we breed two (or more) hoping to at least get one pregnancy = both become pregnant and we are crazy busy and stressed to a factor of 10 over a single litter. There is no other possibility. At least our last experience with this was 1 singleton "litter" of the two preg moms.

I suspect is similar in chickens?

Quote: My son had to have two teeth pulled last year before braces, and they had him take valium the night before and the morning of, it worked really well :) (This was after a failed attempt at pulling them the usual way with just novacaine. He will not sit still for needles and the dentist didn't have anyone to hold him down well enough to make it safe, so she refused to go any further. )

This is why, when I was reminded that my dentist is closed on Fridays, I did not go frantically searching for any dentist who takes emergency cases: been there, done that, on the same tooth and the emergency root canal at the bottom of the mess, no less. The tooth is HORRIBLE among all my horrible teeth. Mom had Hyperemesis gravidarum when she was pregnant with me and was treated with a drug that was known to suppress tooth bud formation, and I had my first three-surface molar filling before I turned three. The tooth that broke was the worst of the worst, and it just figures that I'd end up with it breaking at 7pm the day before the dentist's office was closed,

So now what, I wonder?

[WARNING : Not chicken related, but I'm sure some of y'all could use a giggle even if not avian.]

Ever had one of those mornings?

This is Rosie, aka Comedy's Rosie the Riveter, one of our pups from 2011 that we kept. She was a singleton but may also be the best dog we have ever bred. She is a 4th Generation of our own breeding, and also of our "line" of Clumbers that can win at the shows and hunting on the same weekend. No split in our breed between show and working!

BTW - Rosie is the daughter of Ramona, the avatar I have ↑.

She's adorable! Too funny with her head stuck in the box. Assuming she got herself in that mess and this wasn't staged? LOL Thanks for sharing!!
