Do any of you add AVC to your chickens water? and if you do what noticeable difference's do you notice?
I have read 1 to 2 Tlb per gallon?? is this what you do?

What is AVC? Obviously I don’t use it but now I want to know what my chickens are missing.

Oh yes I have used that when I suspected worms. Mine are all on corid right now and when that is finished I will periodically use acv.

I have never noticed any difference. I just hope it’s working when I use it. Supposedly it makes an undesirable environment for worms.

For one, they love it. Second, it's a good way for me to "force feed" them extra calcium if I think they need it, whether it's pulverized oyster shells or crushed eggshell. Third, it's a good way to make use of all the powdery feed that's in the bottom of the feeder or bag so it doesn't go to waste.

And I get the feeling that my chickens don't eat the amount of pellets they should to get a fully nutritious diet. When they're in the run during the day they're picking around in the woodchips eating who knows what, and whatever it is can't be as nutritious as the layer pellets, whether they're dry or soaked in water to make mash.

I guess that's why I feed them mash. LOL

I'm pretty sure that their egg quality improved when I started letting them fill up on wetted down layer pellets one or twice a day, too.

Hey there was gone all day yesterday. I am getting my screen replaced on the suppose to be smart phone.
160.00 is the going rate now paid so they can order the right one.
I have never done Mash have thought of it. I have cooked oatmeal for them.

New charging port will be 120 for my phone. They had to order one in and it should be here today. Still cheaper than a new phone. I've had to use wireless charging for the last week. It's not as fast and is annoying. The wireless car charger I got is nice in that it grabs the phone and keeps it out of the way.

I drop my phone a lot. I've broke a few screens but they have gotten more durable. How durable depends on the phone. Lower end phones don't have the better glass type.
