You have a great harvest this year @Smokerbill you must have a huge garden.

I canned 6 pints of tomatoes yesterday. Will have to do small batches as the tomatoes ripen. I think freezing would compromise the quality of canned diced tomatoes. Well it’s an easy job this way too.

I don't know if it's huge, but I have 4 raised beds that total up to nearly 400 square feet of garden space. I just freeze tomatoes whole, and they're fine for my needs that way. And I don't mind eating the whole tomato, skin, core, seeds and all.

These are the bigger ones from auction
Nice ones! Barred rock, penciled and a leghorn? Just guessing.

Got all the weeds in my yard mowed down this afternoon. I let my chickens out to forage again an hour ago, and I just checked and all eight are still there. They love being free to forage so much that I think it's worth the risk.

Cooking up fresh veggies to browse on this afternoon. Started with a patty pan squash. Green and yellow beans are cooking now. I'll have some sliced tomatoes with olive oil later on.

Wow! The green and yellow beans I cooked were incredible! I cooked them covered in a skillet with some olive oil for a while to soften them, then continued cooking with the lid off until the beans got some heavy browning. I flipped them over and browned the other side.

Then I mixed up a couple teaspoons of soy sauce with a big teaspoon of sugar and some black pepper, and drizzled it over the beans. Sweet and salty with a little bit of oil. Those beans tasted great! I'll take a picture next time I make them.
