Made 12 dozen pistachio, cherry, chocolate cookies today. They have to sit overnight for the chocolate to get completely set and will be packaged up in the morning.

Mike got the new mulch on the garlic.

Yay! Cookies are done! Haven't counted them all up, but 14 dozen Tiramisu cookies today. About 12 dozen each of the other 3. All in cookie boxes and ready to be shipped tomorrow.

holycow the rain started Saturday and is still going , the water on the roads is deep, the rivers are full, it is even ankle deep in the yard.

Saturday the power went out for 12 hours 8-8.
It went out over night last night.
We had doc appointments all day yesterday and the traffic was just packed and the rain made it hard to see driving.

That's a lot of rain! Hasn't been quite that bad here, but it has been raining.

HVAC guy came out yesterday. Apparently nothing is wrong with our heat pump, but for some reason the thermostat had an issue. He showed DH how to clear that if it happens again. So, yay! I was unhappy that a fairly new heat pump would stop working. But I'm not too happy with a fancy thermostat having a problem.

Glad it was just the thermostat. My new heat pump came with a 10 year warranty, which is nice. Also nice, my first full month electric bill with the heat pump. It used 65% less electricity than my old electric furnace did, same month last year.

I didn't notice much wind down here in SW WA but all the ditches are full of running water and there are big puddles in my yard. Yesterday was a rainy day.
