I don't think you can even buy incandescent bulbs anymore can you?
My problem is half my house is on dimmers, intended for incandescent bulbs... it doesn't get enough energy reading off LEDs to know to fully shut them off when lights are "off" (so they stay on very low and flicker). So I have to keep old bulbs around and leave one incandescent screwed in per circuit, in order for the dimmers to work properly.

Or have it all rewired which would be far more expensive.

New type of dimmer works on LED. Mom had to change out hers a couple years ago

Wow. That would be an issue!

Maybe I'll post a photo later, but the bed where I planted garlic and laid straw has sprouted all over the place. I planted in neat rows, but these little shoots are just everywhere. I think the straw sprouted and I'm growing grass. That is how things go here. I can grow stuff, just not what I want to grow.
Oh my! If it is straw it is going to be hard to get
Rid of

We're going to rake all the straw off tomorrow. Maybe buy new straw to put down...maybe think of something else for mulching. Any suggestions? We don't have a lot of deciduous trees, so that's not an option. All evergreens here.

Due to DH health I only planted tomatoes last spring. I had arugula come up from 2023 and that nice green patch I left is all arugula.
I didnt want to waist my garlic so I put it on the corner of the bed by the wormwood. I planted it as soon as the soil wasn't frozen, never covered it. It is still out there I didnt pull it up.
To the far right are some of my herb plants and across the front is a small herb bed. By the plow is a fig tree.

This is in Oct. when I cleaned the bed

This is before I weeded- in the front right corner by the gate is a herb tea bed

I am still contemplating on what I will do this spring
