BTW great pics of the kids at Christmas, looked like a wonderful day for the Super Stegman crew!

With the talk of getting pics from ones cell phone. I would like to share something that may help. See for those of US that still have STUPID phones. What you can do is go to your text. Enter the E-MAIL address you want to send to. add the pic and a message if you like. Then send just as you would a text. This is free for most (if not all) cell phones. Also once you know the address of your phone (basically its e-mail address) you can allow people to send short e-mails to your cell. To get the e-mail address of your cell just go to text and in the "send to" enter your own e-mail. Send a test and the address will be there. For example mine is (my cell number) + @mms.att.net = my cell e-mail. See I use this a lot because I have people sending pics and I can't see them om my phone so I FWD them to my e-mail and look at them on the slightly larger screen of the little 17" lap top.

Great info! I tested that on my phone, even though it is a 'smart' phone and it worked.
Thanks

So this lil chicken has been in the house all by her self for a long time now. She is the only one that is left from my hatch that ended up getting Cocci. Last night we put her out in the coop finally, she has been off heat for about 3ish weeks. Figured she would be fine. Apparently she did not think so, DH and I went out for a smoke and she saw us hopped out of the coop and ran right over to us. Ratchet was out side with us and pounced right on her. No problem I grabbed her up and took her back to the coop. I turned and walked into the house, she ran after me and came right up to Shelby the cat past the puppy and straight into the kitchen. So I can't get her to stay out side. She is now in the cage is DD's room.
I will probably just take the cage out there and leave her in it so that she can't get out of the coop and can get used to her new home.
Never had a chicken get that attached just from seeing us on the other side of the glass of her cage. So weird! But she is so pretty, she came from a white leghorn egg, don't know which Rooster is the father but as you can see she is mostly white with a few black spots on her.

Speaking of dogs, how is your pup?
She's a very energetic thing. We named her Ophelia so that we can get away with calling her Oaf. She's actually doing quite well in terms of housebreaking; we're not having many accidents. When she does go in the house, it's typically because she's woken up from a long nap and we're not right there to notice and take her outside. She's smart, though, and is learning that people don't want to have their legs nipped. She's not being aggressive, she just wants to play. The problem that isn't improving very quickly is the cats. She wants to play with them, but they run and she chases them. I'm sure we'll be able to fix it soon.
Glad she is doing good. Funny cause it sounds just like our puppy Ratchet. The only time he was having an accident was if we were not right there when he got up from a nap. But for the last week he gets up and runs to either the front or the back door to go outside. The nipping is coming to a stop here also. Our cats are not to happy that the puppy wants to chase them as well. He wont chase the chickens but he is curiouse about them. Ratchet is the first puppy/dog I have ever had that liked kitty rocha though. Yes he found the litter box, eeewwww. He does not get into it all the time only twice so far but he is learning very fast. He already knows that he must sit, stay and wait for my release word ( OK ) before he can eat his food. Does it every time now such a good boy, longest he has waited is 5 min. before I said ok to let him eat. He is also beginning to sleep through the night now, thank goodness.

cat dance
has some e really nice ones also. I have buff but no eggs right now and good fried has Lab if that's a co ok or your looking for
I was thinking about getting some eggs from far away but I have been reading horror stories about shipped eggs so I thought I would look in Wa. If your friend has Labs I had better stay away since we have 2 Lab mixes and those darn dogs get into everything! Just kidding. I would like any colors....including Lav. Could you have your friend pm me or if you give me her name I will pm her. Thanks
