Well we're back and rested up, and the chickens survived without me

Came home to 11 eggs in one nest box and a 12th on the coop floor. It looked like Lucy had kicked it out of her nest; guess she only wants wood eggs! In the process she accidentally evicted one of the 5 wood eggs too though, so I gave it back to her and she happily shoved it underneath herself. I can't wait for the chicks to arrive!

Last night we got back and my sister kept the kids for another night so we could sleep in our own bed and sleep in. Well...sleeping in for us is 8:30 and I feel amazing today! Picked up the kids and took them to the park, and now we're waiting for quiet rest time to start; the babe is already sleeping. He was totally whooped from 2 full days with 5 cousins!

When the chicks come, will you have Lucy and the chicks in the same place as your other hens, or move them to another location?

I have one question for now, most likely many more to come ;-)..... does anyone know how to add pictures using an iPhone, as that is my only Internet connection for the moment....

The easiest way I have figured out is to first upload the pictures to Facebook, and then right click on the pic on Facebook, click 'copy URL', and then use that URL here.

eta: use Travis' method! it's easier.

Hmmm.... I must not have posted enough as it still only gives me the option of posting the URL....

P.s. my name is Sarah Kathryn....my gramps always called me Sarahkatie as a kid and as it is unusual, I found it makes a good user id, it is almost never taken
