Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

A nipple waterer might work with that...You just drill a hole and shove in the nipple part, fill with water, put cap on, and hang upside down.

I was under the impression that there needs to be a small hole elsewhere in the container to allow airflow. Without it a suction would develop and the water would stop flowing.

If someone has a different experience, please jump in here!

All right. Who laid this? 'fess up!

Quote: I NEVER thought about that... I think the nipples allow air through, but now I have to check mine as soon as I get home!

No clue on that one. Can't a drill make it slowly through glass? One tiny hole wouldn't be hard to cut.

I just went back out and the babies are confused about where to find warmth. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on them today to make sure they learn to go back under Lucy to stay warm, it's chilly out there!

Only a diamond tipped drill bit will drill glass without breaking it.

We have the AWANA Grand Prix at noon today. The kids are so excited! I'm not excited about leaving the babies for several hours but...survival of the smartest I guess. They'd better figure out that Lucy IS the heat lamp or they'll be chick-sicles when I get back :(
