Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Well today DH must have finally gotten my hints. If he wanted something done about the chicken crap all over the yard, he needed to come up with a plan and implement it. Well, he brought home 10 t-posts and 50' of poultry fencing (black plastic stuff, doesn't look half bad actually) and put it up. A straight run from the coop to the creek. I took some scissors and clipped everyone's wings and they should be fine on that 1/4 of the backyard. In the summer there's a bit of shade under a tree and some rhododendrons and right now they still have access to fresh creek water like they enjoy all fall/winter. I hope we get some really good rain here soon to start washing away the remaining chicken doo doo from the rest of the yard. Woot!

The first time I asked my older son to mow the lawn, he blew up like a balloon. The first time I asked my younger son to mow the lawn, his nose ran like a faucet. I mow my own lawn.
Here's the sucky part. I love mowing the lawn, especially on MY lawn tractor. But I do do it a few times a year. Gonna have to figure something out once the youngest is out of the house in a few years.
Eliminating lawn or replacing it with eco-lawn is very trendy. You want to be trendy, don't you?

I'm watching Breaking Dawn II again tonight; want to get my $$s worth out of that $6 HD rental!

Of my 3 acres, 1 is grass. That would be quite the $$$ eco-lawn. We really wanna do moss

Tomorrow I'm going to call them. I'm going to be a thorn in their side til they yes or no me. We went and took out a loan to be able to get him.
