I'm really disturbed. We have a little roo that just found out that he's a roo. So now he's chasing all the girls around the. Yard getting what he can.
While going about the chores I hear a squawk from my five week old duck. I've been wondering if it was a hen. The roo is taking advantage of my poor little duck. I guess I'm going to be moving thelittle duck uin with the big ducks.
I'm up to 19/20 birds now...totally addicted! Started here with a very late and unexpected duck hatch. Have khaki Campbell's..six of them and 13 chickens...barnevelder roo, young barred rock roo...some EEs, Orps, Australorp and RIR. Love them all!!!Taking part in the new year hatch along...so much fun!!![]()

Thank you! I'm excited to be here =) I haven't any b y birds yet. I haven't decided between chickens/ducks/quails/ or pheasants yet. I do have indoor aviaries where I am currently breeding canaries, lady gouldian finchs, and zebra finches. I am a bird lover! it makes things difficult when it comes time to deciding. =)
