Even Speckles, my 5 year old EE hen, won't sit still for pictures and she's been handled constantly. I can just walk up to her and pick her up and there are no complaints, but she will not sit still.
These silkies are just pretty laid back. The males more so than the females. I've never had issues with them even looking at a person wrong. Now I have had them beat up the large fowl roosters who are four times their size. There is no human aggression though.
