I just need a few new large fowl layers. The silkie x ameraucana and silkie x EE pullets look like they will be at most just slightly bigger than the pure silkies even though the mothers were large fowl. They should have ended up halfway between in size

I do have 4 barnyard I can give you dad is Ameracauna mom is red mostly from Gena

I can't put any adult birds in with the old EEs/ameraucana.

Chicks will be raised by some of the silkie pests who won't keep off the nests. Hoping to convince them that they are actually just large silkies

I have no place to quarantine right now. The tiny coop is in use right now. The only reason I can get away with day

alright I will grow them up more then take them and broody to auction later
have not gotten a good look to see if all pullet or not

The very experienced 7 year old silkie is in the little
coop because she needed to molt. Then she went broody. She aways takes chicks at any time of day, so easy to deal with

My girls are happily growing up the marans they hatched although they are starting to outgrow their skirts now
