Thanks Tom and yes it’s a mixed group only had a couple of Marans in there mostly cream Legbar and blue icebar with a few olive eggers in there. I had a broody Marans with chicks in a cage in the barn but that stinking badger killed and ate them all. He won’t be doing that anymore.

Well silky lost 1 did not make it all the way out of the shell they still have three left we will see should hatch by like 2 days ago may be infertile or whatever silky are wonderful broody

I think I will wait till morning for sure 5 of the 7 eggs left are alive and working on getting out one of those is a nice big dark Marans egg. It’s not cruel to leave them in there compared to putting them in a box a shipping them across the country.

I have no doubt but kinda guess they are no go should have hatched if nothing by morning I will toss them we have 3 good number

Everything is still the same in the incubator 17 peeps 5 trying to hatch and two dud eggs. How long can it take those other five to hatch or does this mean they have problems. There are some real cuties in there running around.

Kind of hard to get a picture in there temporary box. Still only the 17, I don’t know that the other five are going to make it out of the shell. I put a warm damp towel in the incubator when I took these out humidity popped right back up.
