I sold 17 dozen eggs in town this week and took another 15 dozen to the feed store I go to that gives me 4.50 a dozen for them. I got a ton of eggs the 15th to the 19th I have never paid attention before but that was during the full moon. Anyone else get lots of eggs over that period? Laying is back to normal now. Nope mine have gone down to 4 - 6 days

Mine might now it was supposed to be around 17 degrees this morning it’s 4 degrees brrr

Now that is cold arranged to buy some marans but blue copper think may have to let lunch go the ameracauna he is low man to me but is challenging the bc cockerel now

The 2.7 ounce egg I had next to that big 3.9 ounce egg was from a blue copper Marans, most of the time the eggs are not as dark as from the black copper Marans. It just depends on what you are looking for you could cross them with your black copper boy.

think the ameracauna is going away keeping my marans as he is nice so far what worries me is had one naked girl (from molt) go after him big time did not see what lead to it I know the other boy is really nice to his ladies no bare backs ever and he stands up for them
