I finally have a little extra time to better introduce myself! We live near Mattawa. We have 2 Buff Orpington Roo's, 1 sweet...1 a little mean...lol! 3 Buff Orpington hens. 3 Welsummer hens, 3 Rhode Island Red hens, 1 Salmon Faverolle hen, 2 Midnight Majesty Marans hens, 1 FBCM hen, 2 FBCM roosters, 1 Sapphire Olive Egger hen-super sweet and a surprise...she came in with the FBCM, but I knew she was different from the beginning, 2 EE's...sweet girls. 3 White Silkies, 2 Roos & a hen...they were given to me from a friend! Somehow I need to get a picture of them all together!

Our 20 something year old Coop and enclosed pen! To the left is the new fenced in free range pen...we have neighbor dogs that pack and like to decimate chicken populations!

My new Silkies...safely inside their own pen...they are now roaming with the rest of the flock!

A good portion of my flock enjoying a Hosta that I planted inside the pen as a treat for them to enjoy...they devoured it!

That's a very nice coop and pen. I don't have anything quite so nice.

You have a lovely flock as well. Nice egg basket color.

Mine is not nearly as pristine either but is serviceable for chickens they can do dust baths in their coops as the only one with a floor is Silkie they have to use their tractor for that and get nail clips because of it

I'm kind of worried about our Silkies, we have several feral cats around here! Hopefully the big Roosters will be good protectors! Our free range pen will keep dogs out, but probably not cats!
