Only got 4 eggs today allot half naked birds running about

I got four eggs today, down from the 5-7 we’ve been getting.
I think we might have a new layer! A shell less egg under the roost last night.

How much do the POL pullets go for?

So I was talking to hubby about maybe selling two of the 14 week old pullets several days ago. He says no. He likes all 5 of them and can't decide between them. I know they will only lay medium eggs and go broody about twice a year judging by their older sisters.

The Auction is just started back but doing every other week all must have masks on .. last year the numbers depend on who is there as in bidders .. I was not at the first auction this year ?

Lost one of my elderly EEs overnight. Her stiff body was in the sleep position still. She'd have been 10 on February 2nd. She'd been in good health and sticking her beak in everything yesterday. Just age caught up.

That's so sad! They can go so quickly!

My girls are still laying pretty good, but the egg count has definitely dropped! I've gotten 2 shell less eggs, but it's from one of my regular layers...I think it's my girl that had been sick! Everyone seems healthy and active, but you never know!

Same here! So trying to keep track...I really think it's because she was sick!
