I caught up on laundry today. Was a good day to stay inside.

Yup stayed inside but the cleaning the coop, collecting eggs. About to go put the birds to bed here let dogs out the last time.

Super windy, I saw a small tornado form, it spun around, and then took off towards my coop, tore the roof off a pen, then headed towards our house and knocked over a tall step ladder.

A different year a small one came by and lifted 2 chickens over 60 ft. then went over to the community pool and created a water spout.

Well, the tulips are not as plentiful. The Tulip Town farm had lost 4 acres of plants from all the flooding of the fields during fall. At least we had fun and it did not rain at all while we were outdoors, contrary to the weather forecasts.

I put them out with the heat lamp on a thermostat, tied to the roost securely. They seem to be doing great, even perching on the roosts. Sunny but cold, still,and the coop is staying around 70 degrees. I think they are comfortable, since they are not cuddling under the light. Feathering out nicely.

But, oh, that storm last night! Lost all my newly transplanted tomatoes when the greenhouse blew over, flipping the table they were on. Good thing I started and have 23 more to transplant. Thanks for the advice!

We had just a little wind over here in Everett. Getting tomato plants this week. Happy gardening..

I planted these over 6 years ago and the squirrels have scatted them all over the yard

I have a couple squirrels mostly just rats .. No planting till next month plant need to grow more.
