Quote: I do the same thing. LOL That was actually my original plan. I kept saying, when the kids are done with the play structure, I will turn it into a chicken coop and get chickens. But decided not to wait that long..and instead i got a tiny little chicken coop kit that sort of resembles the kids play houseIt is already too small. DH thinks we should sell the play structure and build a coop instead of converting it. I'm not sure we can get much for it so I'm not sure what the point is.
It sounds like we have similar play sets--it is a deck and sandbox on bottom, with a house above the deck and another deck above the sand box. from sam's club.
Totalcolour has PT on Tues & Thurs so those days are out.I vote for this Sat, Sun, or Tue, Nov 3, 4, 6. Definitely can't do 10th or 11th.
Quote: Target. They usually just have them in the summer. i've bought them at target online also, they may have them all year.
Here's a bunch..I guess they have solar Xmas lights also--I don't get enough sun in winter to keep the lights I have lit, so I wouldn't bother with solar for Xmas

i'm going to get some of these http://www.target.com/p/home-solar-...dSlot=dlp_medium_1_2&term=solar string lights
He is adorable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Here is Aidyn as Lightning McQueen. After each house we stopped at he would ask "now where are we going daddy?" it was so cute. Then the last house we went to was home to a little 3.5 year old girl. Aidyn tried to hug her! He is such a little flirt with the girls! I'm going to have to keep my eye on him when he gets older.

Did someone post a link for donating left over halloween candy to the troops?
We have a dentist in our building that buys back candy, then they just throw it away. I thought we could donate it, but I can't find anything local.
Help?
Thanks!
Kim

I'd love to get my hands on one of those -- I that would be a fun job. Same thing with an old fashioned A-Frame swing set. Those both sound like really fun builds.

Mine are 2 weeks, 3 days - all of them "can" fly up to 2' but they get to enjoy the impact of a wire screen when they do. Yesterday, Rocha caught me by surprise. The minute I took the wire screen off the top of the brooder, she was up on the edge of the brooder all happy and proud. The brooder box is 2' feet tall. All four of these babies have LONG wings.![]()
DH thinks we might have to clip the littles wings. Our big girls rarely fly over 1 foot - so, we're not exactly sure what we're in for with these 4 chicks. Rhodie will fly up to the top of the coop - but that's about it. She's hasn't pushed her luck too much, yet. When the littles get bigger and start flying, Rhodie might push her luck a little more. Heaven forbid someone should do something better than her.
