So I would like to know if anyone breeding Silkies has any fertile eggs available. My wife fell in love with silkies at the Clackamas CO Fair. I would like to get 2 eggs for her. Color is not important. Just not looking for any Silkie mixes. I would be willing to drive an hour away from Oregon City. If anyone near me can help me out please PM me with info and cost. I really want to surprise my wife. She knows we were gonna get them in the spring but I was not expecting a broody so early, so it would be a great surprise. We were planning on letting anyone that got broody hatch eggs so we have continuous flow of eggs and meat birds. She just loved how soft the Silkie was and how friendly too.

Are you coming to the show? I bet there could be some found there!!

I do need a guy who knows how to put a carburator kit on a BCS tiller. Guess I don't know EVERYTHING. Does anyone know of a tutorial online? Think I'm just going to do it myself. Story of my life these days.

It's just like eatin lettuce. Ain't nothin to it. Get you a clean flat work area and work slow. Look for parts falling out of places. Wish I had known. I coulda done it when I was up.

I got my sweet little Miss To-too from Marjorie Best at last years show. To-too is so sweet and docile, and is a gorgeous porcelain color. Marjorie only sold her, because the porcelain color isn't recognized as of yet.

I got my sweet little Miss To-too from Marjorie Best at last years show. To-too is so sweet and docile, and is a gorgeous porcelain color. Marjorie only sold her, because the porcelain color isn't recognized as of yet.

I told her color was not important, she said they will be bearded silkies. I am calling her tomorrow afternoon(my DW is home and almost spoiled it when she opened the laptop and I had an email from Marge) but luckily she just thought it was a question being answered by someone on BYC. Whew, almost spoiled the surprise part. I can't wait. YAY

I don't think that Marjorie lives very far from you either. I am excited that you are going to be able to get such good quality Silkies. Marjorie has been showing chickens for more years than most of us have even been alive. She was very informative about the WFF club, and showing.
