Hrm. I had assumed it was black, because it sure looks black to me. I guess I ought to look at silkie colors online. Not that it matters really, but I'd like to get it right!
What colors do the under fluff colors correspond with?

Hey all. I posted this last night, but I don't think anyone saw it since this thread moves so fast. I unfortunately was unable to make it to the show this weekend. I was wondering what bird/gender/and who owns it won Champion Feather leg and Reserve. Thanks!
There was a post on Facebook this evening. She was having moose steak for dinner.Has anyone heard from Rainwolf, i have not seen a post from her in awhile.

OH ok I"m good with that. Nobody is "looking" at the PMs then, but the software for the website filters language. That I can handle. I don't like foul language anyway![]()
So ya don't wanna talk chicken ??![]()
Quote: WFF also has a Facebook page. So I am told. I have never looked.

I just love my new baby, Farmin Momma's little Belgian! She's the most darling thing and I think my diabetes gets worse every time I see her because she's so sweet!![]()
We named her Marmalade.
We had a tarp roof collapse down on the silkie pen, and fill with way to much water. I was out there baling water out. We got two more supports cut and put up, and raised it back up. It's much sturdier now and hopefully there won't anymore issues.
The quarantine coop is surrounded by a moat, but it's dry inside. We put it on a high spot when we moved it. The silkie run and the main run are pretty good. Last year the main run was a puddle but we filled in so much that it's good now.
It almost sounds like the universe is out to get your Silkies. lol I'm glad they are safe for now.
I raked almost 50lbs of fir needles off my tarp over my coop. Stupid wind and rain. I can't wait to get started on my pallet coop for the birds. Couple more weeks of pallet colection and then I can start.
So to those of you that are also using tarps over your runs and coops, do you find that water condenses and drips from underneath? I have alot of that going on in my silkie pen. Thinking of getting something else to cover it. But not sure what.
Any ideas? Anyone?
