Just a reminder, I have guinea keets for sale, possibly some true Ameraucana and Welsummer chicks, and possibly a few Barnevelders. I also have five peachicks that I'll be selling but am going to let them stay with their momma for at least a few weeks because the other four peachicks I took from their momma died. They just wouldn't eat or drink on their own after I took them away from the peahen.

Oh, and I have 8 kittens I will be looking for good homes for. They're cute, playful, 8 weeks old and ready to go.

I am going out to pick up some bantam cochens tomorrow. They have blue and blacks, they are 4 weeks old or more so pm or text me on my phone if you want me to get a rooster for your little lady.

anyone know anyone who might be interested in either a blue orpington cockerel (9weeks old now), and/or two 20 month old red star (production reds from mypetchicken) hens? HOMES only - no eating them allowed!!!

Hello All,
Just because you all are probably the only other ones (other then my mom & DH) who will be excited for me ~ I just tallied up my egg count for our first full month of laying. Drum roll please

For the month of June my eight little hens layed 104 lovely eggs! I've had enough to gift my mom, my son and my sister with tasty fresh organic brown eggs. As my husband says they are all paying their rent now. I am amazed at how easy chicken keeping is.

Reminder that I'm traveling to the Spokane area next Monday and would be able to transport my trio of black orps (well, one is a splash), if anyone is interested? I have lowered the price to $65 for the trio. They are 1 year old and laying daily, with proven fertility through mail and here on the farm.

I also have an F2 mille fleur cochin bantam rooster for sale. He's very sweet and should molt out to be very pretty. His type is good and he's ready for a new home--I ended up with THREE roos and only ONE hen from my last hatch, so he needs to go. I'm asking $50 for him.

hope everyone's enjoying this beautiful weather!!! i just popped a mixture of yogurt, honey, banana, apple juice and dog food stuffed in the dogs' kong toys into the freezer. that's what my dogs are having for dinner... now i'm just trying to decide what similar concoction the chickens might like... no mealworms or crickets to make a slurry with. hmmm....

I never say no to pics, and it's not me you have to convince, it's the hubby, who still hasn't built the coop. We're moving them into the barn and out of my storage room right now, temporarily.

I know I probably need another roo since I think I've only got one. And I'm in love with my orps, would love a blue, but need to convince the hubby.

Sorry I've been gone! Along with new babies, I have been working like mad on the yard, the garden, and the chicken coup with all this good weather!

Hey Iron, what time is the poultry sale at yardbirds on Saturdays? I'd love to go check that out. Not this weekend, but next weekend in Toledo is the Cheese Fest, so we're heading over that way to hit the massive garage sales going on there.

I'm looking for turkeys too - if anyone has any, let me know! I actually have a wish list a mile long, including peachicks as well. But it all has to wait for the coup to get done... (Should be this weekend!). Does anyone nearby raise Spitzhaubens as well? I'm curious how they are doing with them if they are.

Its funny how many Jen's are on here.
