My heart is going out to you. I truly know how you feel, if you feel like I feel when I go outside and find my greenhouse in a crumbled mess.

I was waiting for you to come online. . . I was going to say, hey, now you can't complain of a quiet night.

OK I must admit I was out enjoying the snow until about 8:00. I just couldn't resist starting the burn pile to get rid of some of the old goat sheds that recently blew over. It was kind of nice except for the east wind that just cuts right through ya. It was even chilly through my insulated bibs.
They say that we are supposed to have rain by 6 am. Well it is 30* here and unless we get some heat real fast it is gonna be a skatin rink out there in the am.

They claim to be Christians. They mainly were hate anti gay pickets which made no sense when he would hang out in front of a gentlemen club on race weekend. Know I feel its just for attention. On his compound the fly the American and Canada Flag upside down.

They sound like Devil worshippers....well, we can only hope they discover Kool Aide.

LOL. When lived in Redwood Valley we found out the house we moved into was a home for one of Jim Jones follows.

Just a few random thoughts:

I give my chickens dry cat food occasionally, have never soaked it, but then again it's just occasionally. If it sits out in the rain and turns to mush, they will eat it too.

Glad T Hi's dad is OK, well kinda OK.

I used to work with a woman that grew up with her grandparents next door to the Spahn Ranch in California. She thought it was cool to go and hang out with the Manson Family. (No, she wasn't a weirdo, we were actually good work friends) I think the Phelp's family is todays version of Charlie's family.

Couple inches of snow here. Saw a few accidents on my way home from work. Wish I didn't have to double back early in the morning.

I can't even remember what all you been talking about.

Russ

Oh BTW- I think I've been smacked by the gifting stick again. I'll start a Thank You thread in the correct forum.

Kind of hard to tell just how much snow has fallen here as we already had quite a bit on the ground, and the new stuff is blowing in. The cat bowl which is against the wall under a 4' eave is burried, my white cat is out there digging through the snow in the bowl to get to the food ... looks kinda cute. Current weather report shows it turning to rain by 2 am ... I don't think so. I'm betting big, wet flakes here at 6 am and maybe slushy rain in town with icy roads when school is scheduled to start ...

Thank you for the idea about the long handled pruning shears. I hadn't thought of those one. I had thought that I needed to use the hand held ones. I am very sure that the long handled shears will help my distaste for really doing the deed.

Do you feel guilty about the cat being outside?
I'm have guilty feelings with my 3 outside cats, 2 ferals and 1 incontinent stray. I feel so sorry for them being outside. I know 2 of them are old. I was debating cat door and electric blanket in the garden shed. Thought better of it, but...
