yes RedReiner..pred is the devil's drug, and also a life saving wonder drug.
My immunal system was at the time so out of control that it was attacking about 80% of my skin..to the point where layers bubbled off and red meat showed through, weeping open bare meat tissue. Called Toxic epitherliam..er something.
Usually related to a drug reaction. Not me, mine was just hyper active and went off.
I was also working in close contact (for years) with epoxy resins..which are NOW known to cause sensitivities and cause auto-immune disease.
So I already had celiac disease and was pre-destined for several others, like Hashimotos and Raynaud's and Adrenal studies need to be done..and then I worked with epoxy resin, hand printing so it got on me...and all hell broke loose.
Ugly scalding blisters, entire patches of skin would fall off as if someone had tossed hot grease on me..no relief but ice cubes to keep the burning away, and numb and wet the bare meat.
Tried to bandage,...
anyway, docs had to shock the system. and they did -as it was on self distruct, far more dangerous than the prednesone cut off.
Bam!
within hours my skin was healing, by day 2 I looked normal but for a thin shadow of red where the new skin had regrown.
All I have to do is get stressed out and bam! It can happen again.
I love the woods, the fresh air, the peace and quiet.
No drive bys, no grafetti, no gangs.
Very little litter, lots of wildlife.
Growing as much of our own food as possible..alot healthier this way.
Seriously, what just happened to CCG= having 11 birds taken and killed...would put me in a meltdown.
