When I brought her home a month ago she had a bit of a poopy bottom and does again (I cleaned a bit of it off today, but didn't want to stress her too much), but when I isolated her today I could see her poop and it seemed normal. I think she's slowed down on laying, if not stopped in the last few days.

You might want to give her a warm bath soaking her bottom and make sure she isn't egg bound.

Edited to add I would also check for mites and or lice under her wings and around her vent. If you find them dust her with poultry dust. And I'd worm her with Wazine and then follow up with Eprenex or Ivermectin if you can't find the Eprenex. See the posts above a page or so back with some great links to worming threads.​

Thanks all for the input! I'll check her closely for mites or lice and give her bottom a bath in the AM. I'll report back later tomorrow.

I really think this virus has stuck alot of BYCers.

Was there a virus through BYC ? Well, we already know there was cuz so many of us almost had it...and we know of a few that got it and were struck dead.
Just wondering if BYC has any preventions or announcements about "it"...a few months ago there was some hacking into the thread, remember ?

I am indeed here, have you not seen my posts elsewhere? I just have nothing to say here. . . .

eta - I'm not really the subscribing type. I go about each section in the forum and look at what's new, then occasionally hit the bottom of the index to see the latest replies throughout the forum. Keeps me on my toes and on the lookout.

Chickielady is importing a full dozen PBR white rocks from Robert Blosl....to infiltrate the non SOP features of my RIW that has a slanted back like a freakin turkey !
No one has been on the heritage thread, no one has been on the RIW, Java or heritage waterfowl thread..it is weird...

not just today, but in the last 2 days ...

OH my...Illia may have it ? She is always here, and has been gone as well~~

Anyway, I will have these SQ white rocks soon, as well as the SQ black javas.

My computer is impervious to viruses.

I don't think I've ever gotten one, tell the truth, in all the, umm, 5? computers and laptops I've had in my life.


Pretty sure it's just that spring is picking up, people have stuff to do. I've been working nonstop on my website, and was almost excited to be finished, then ran into the oh so lovely fact that I cannot have an order form unless my host provides a CGI server.

Guess I'll just count on my viewers to use Outlook
