Hehehe no worries I woke up this morning to 13 in the incubator! All are happy and fluffy now

I floated just a few that hadn't hatched yet and they're still viable! Its day 20 now! Late little buggers. You said still air should be about 102 right?

Ewww! I have like 10 pairs of gloves for that...I actually soak them pretty good and it helps the poop come off and then I blow them dry. The two Sussex girls I'm bringing to the show have BIG, fluffy white booties with poo on them!

Well well, Cowgirlgrace, guess what I got today!

A Sussex egg! Yep, the non-broody hen has been laying in the chick's brooder (she takes up 90% of its space

) all day, and so when I finally kicked her out, I found a fresh light brownish pink egg there.

Now to get someone to properly do the duty with her. . . She's SO huge, it's gonna take a while.

Daffy is having her first "outside hose water" bath. The spoiled little princess! Started quacking & peeping like we were killing her!!

Gawd forbid the water was not a perfect 95* for her royal hiney!!

A bowl of peas fixed that real quick though!!

Guess she will be back into her bath tub warm baths after that horrible trauma!!!!

Oh CL what have you done to us!!!!!!!!

Edited to add--- We are NOT being cruel by the way.... she is a 7 week old (almost fully feathered) duck for heaven's sakes!!!
