[Chicken Rustler]

Well last night Mr. & Mrs. Broody came out to visit. We had a very DW and I really enjoyed visitng with them. Hope they feel the same.

I am still chugging along making things and trying to figure out how we are going to get there but I am committed now ( may be it should be to a mental place) and I will make it work some how. DW has been coming up with some real good additions to things I am making and she has been very helpful along the way.

I have discovered that I can sit in the stables and get wireless signal so that will at tleast allow me to get A daily fix of BYC, check PM's and e-mail. No where near as comfy as setting in my recliner by the wood stove but hey ya gotta doo what ya gotta doo to get yer BYC fix right!!!

Had she not tripped, she would have reached the torrent in another 1.5 miles (I have photos,but unable to post). I don't think she would have realised the shoulders are likely washed out, and the water off the sides is at least waist deep. (3 years ago, the channel it cut through the asphalt was 10 FEET deep! If she made it through the torrent, she would have had another 1.5 miles and 540 feet elevation gain in some of the worst weather I've seen here.

I almost named my daughter Mare, and when I told my mother she said "Oh geeze ROBIN, how could you name your daughter after an animal?"

I said "MOM! YOU named me after an animal!"

then she got quiet and said.."oh yeah...."
