I asked them 2 months ago, and they were planning on getting them in Feb. That is all I know, but I go up there periodically so I can check, or you can call them.

Im so glad to here that King County left the Chickens alone, have to watch them for next year, just dont trust them.

Yes, exactly.
Unfortunately we have to keep watch on these type of people all the time. I'll try to find out what happened to the rest of the people once KC figures out how to update their website with a re-cap of how they want to get involved where they don't belong.

I'll give you all an idea of the type of people and mind set they have there........................

Years ago when they pulled their head out long enough to allow the farmers to build berms for their live stock to go to when it floods of course they had all kinds of red tape how it was to be done. A farmer i was talking to one day told me this story..................

He was informed a woman from KC would be coming to check on his farm.

Now keep in mind this lady knew she was going to a farm. She came from SEATTLE!

She pulls up to the Farmers place and as she gets out of the car the farmer notices she is wearing high heals.
When he got done laughing at her he told her to get off his property.

A woman coming to a farm in high heels telling us how we are to live.
Just another example of CLUELESS people that at one time forgot, or are so uneducated they fail to know ALL of our food came from farms or our own place where families would grow their food and take care of animals in order to feed them selves.

We bought food from each other based on TRUST, not regulations.

When something bad happened word got around and the natural market place took care of it.
Not some intruding government who thinks that we can't take care of our selves using fear to take away our rights.

Love this for coop floor protection. It's Free...............

I have a small roll of linoleum I found in the attic. Its probably around 6x8 feet or so. I don't have a need for it, so if you can use it let me know. Leave a phone number and I'll call you to arrange pick up. Sorry no delivery.

Is everyone hanging out on facebook and playing Farmland? Or maybe I just smell bad? Well, there probably is a little chicken poo on my shoe but otherwise I don't think I am that stinky. Hello?

I hang out on facebook, but I don't play any of the games. I had a very bad online game addiction for almost 5 years, so I don't look at games anymore ... lol

I can't smell you through all this duck poo, so no worries there

New Chicken Coops for $200 ea. Cash. The size 48" wide 44" long and 40" tall, Disassembled it will fit in the back of a Subaru. I have 35 years woodworking experience. I can modify them to your specific needs or build you what you like, I will just have to price it out. Please call me directly or shoot me an email. They come unfinished so you can make it the way you want. Everyone seems to want to have a different color so I leave it up o you to decorate however you like. This is similar to the ones you buy at feed stores for $350. Mine are made of higher quality materials, better craftsmanship and are larger. You can't go wrong. Holds 6 - 8 chickens easy.

I know now for sure my BR is the first one to lay an egg on Saturday. I went down to check on them late yesterday afternoon and she was doing her good duty in the nest box.

Still small eggs, but am glad to see them!

I got a dozen French black copper marans hatching eggs yesterday.
hope they hatch. They were from three hens over four days.

On the way home from work today I mapped out GREAT driving directions to the Juanita community center (where the party is) from I-405. It is pretty easy to find if you follow my directions. I can think of only THREE reasons why someone would get lost if they followed directions

(1) Your Blind

(2) You can't read

(3) Your from Hoquiam

PM me if you would like directions. I will post something again two weeks before the party.
