Hey everyone. I have a 94 dodge dynasty that someone can come pick up for $100. I drove it for 6 years and never had a problem with it. Maintained it until early last year. It's been sitting here undriven since December, but started right up when I moved it into the driveway today. It's dirty, inside and out. Is not a looker, but body is in good shape. Gets 18mpg. The seat adjustment is broken in the furthest back position. The exhaust is somewhat loud, I never did get that worked on. It now has a flat. Will look to see what the spare is doing. Tags are good. Looking for the title and getting frustrated, someone may need to file for lost title, or we can do that. No promises on the future of the car, but it has never let me down.

I want it gone this weekend. I'll post a craigslist ad tonight if no one here wants it or knows someone who wants it. You can pm me for our phone number.

Forgot to add, we're on bainbridge island. To get to us from the North the Edmonds/Kingston ferry is the best. Federal Wayish and south best bet is to drive the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and come in the back way, Seattleish, one would take the Seattle/Bainbridge Ferry.

Whats the update on the ducks?

Same holding pattern. Met the woman and saw her property Friday. I'm not sure if it would work out. I liked her a lot, but the ducks would have less room than they have now. It would be a temporary situation. Nothing back from the Vineyard, and I go to the Poulsbo farm on Tuesday. Those are all the leads I have at the moment.

Car is pending 10 am pickup tomorrow.

It is good you have some leads

It's probably too late - but is anyone planning on ordering chicks from a hatchery anytime in the near future that could order a few extras for me? I would pay you before you ordered them, of course. My mom finally decided on some breeds she'd like, and of course my feed store only has 2 of them, neither where her favorites, and they won't be getting any of the other breeds she'd like. I did end up getting 6 more chicks and 3 ducks for myself, however!

She only wants 6 chicks max, and I don't want to order 25 from the hatchery.

Or, does anyone know of a feed store in or near kitsap/shelton/gig harbor/along I-5 between Tacoma and Stanwood that might have: jersey giants, barred rocks, light brahmas, delwares, and dorkings? I doubt I'll find the dorking, but it's worth a shot, heh.

Please help me if you can. I know that in the end, she'll be more than happy with whatever I get her, but I'd really like to get her the ones she wants most.

I really hope this sun keeps up. . . .

Oh, does anyone here have experience growing the following: Almonds, Grapes, Peaches ? And when I ask, I mean for people who don't live in warm, sunny, dry parts of WA. Sorry.

I'm really starting my gardens, and this is my first time on those, and have never met anyone who's grown them out here, so just looking for advice.

Gonna start selling eggs tomorrow. Excited and curious as to how many costumers I'll get a week.

Oh no. I hate coyotes but can't bring myself to do anything about them. The neighbor who enjoyed shooting them moved so I may be faced with confronting them myself.

I know a little bit about the gardening questions. Plus I am a lifetime Native of King County Washington. The grapes will grow in Western Washington. My brother-in-Law has them growing on the side of his brick home. I also remember a vineyard on Vashon Island the produce for many years. The peaches do not do well in Western Washington; they need the heat to ripen. The trees have troubles with the climate, and if I remember right they are prone to molds and fungus troubles. I do believe that there are some hi-bred peach trees that are better for the climate here. I would try Raintree Nursery for advice on types of trees that will produce in Western Washington. You will need to remember that Forks gets more rain and grey cold days, than say central Seattle does, so make sure that they know where you are planning to grow your trees. I don't know much about Almonds, but I would think that they need the heat and sun of central California. I am growing English Walnuts very successfully here in Enumclaw. Black walnuts do well also. I also know that Filberts are grown in the Willamette Valley, just south of Portland OR. So this maybe an option for growing nuts here. This book is considered the best for Gardening in Western Washington. Growing Vegetables West of the Cascades: The Complete Guide to Organic Gardening - Paperback (Nov. 28, 2007) by Steve Solomon It is about 15.00 at Amazon.com. I hope this helps. I also really like Western Garden Book by Sunset. It’s a very nice reference book. I think I found my copy at a thrift store.

PS: I am so sorry about your loss DJackJr

I have been there before. One of my Yorkie pups got in to the chicken coop and killed one of my Black Copper Marans just 2 days ago. I have blame myself for not securing the coop better, but now I have to get the pup a different home so he can’t do it again when I am not watching. I am still fairly mad at the pup and his mother over the loss.

PSS: Christina May I am going to order meat birds as soon as I can, most likely on this coming Friday (payday). I only need about 15 birds so I would love to share an order. I was going to use Dunlap Hatchery, but I am willing to buy elsewhere to get the birds you want. PM me and I will give you my phone number, and we could talk more about what you want.

I sold 9 birds today at Auction, and I only came home with a rabbit, 3 zebra finches, and 2 dozen fertile eggs to put under my broody EE hen. So here I go again with mystery chicks. I hope at least some hatch in 3 weeks.
I am in so much trouble for getting the bunny; DH hasn't talked to me all day. I know this will pass, but in the mean time.

It was a bad idea on the bunny. The Yorkies and bunnies will a very dangerous mix, So I am praying that it will work. The cats are trying to figure out how to get the finches, but at least I have them hanging high enough in the corner of the family room that it's very unlikely that they will be able to get to the cage. I have still used twist ties to make sure that if god forbid, they get to the cage that they will not be able to open any of the little doors on the cage.

So that's what up in my life. I am going to work on the Farmville thing a bit more tonight and then off to be. Goodnight all.

Kaitlyn Shea Woods should have been 24 years old. 03/06/1986, I still miss her so much. She gone but not forgotten.
