I'd loan you some bricks, but I don't have any to spare right now, too busy throwing them at DH!

Concerta first: when is he taking his pill? If he's awake and not hopelessly forgetful in the morning, start having him take it right before he leaves the house, assuming it lasts 8 hours as described (mine doesn't, which is why it's sitting on my breakfast plate and is the last thing I take in the morning). If it's not lasting 8 hours, he may need a higher dose, or the option of taking 5mm regular methylphenidate when he starts to rebound. Puberty (I went through that with my daughter) and menopause mess with the effectiveness of all medications, especially with the effective dose curve.

Rebound is horrible but it's so very much more fun than coping unmedicated.

Also: any job working with computer people NEEDS ambulance coverage (the jerk who harassed my DH to his, which I was reminded last night was when my daughter was two weeks old and therefore on my actual 36th birthday was teaching a lab on DOS) (am I old or what). I'm also reminded of an aquaintance who ended up hospitalized in a diabetic coma while he was a perma temp at MS and there was a massive code push to meet product delivery deadlines. It took his wife two book advances to pay off his bills.

actually a couple of those were worthy of a few minutes' thought, but generally you can do the same thing with an easily-washed terry towel and a couple of diaper pins ...

however, I did think longer about that baby helmet -- cannot count how many times my boys bashed their heads into something regardless of how well I babyproofed the house -- not to mention what they encountered in playgrounds, camping sites, relatives' houses, or daycares ....

two boys under the age of 4 vs two parents .... no contest ! boys win !

This is what moves fast around here:
Those Jimmy Dean bisquit sausage deals.........
I think maybe you can try out making a bunch of bisquits, fried egg (smash the yolk and let it get cooked so it does not explode later upon microwaving..) and a sausage patty...
Put them all together & ziplock, and put all in a 1 gallon ziplock~
They are super yummy!

for me the "already cooked" is the key phrase. I love this idea, CL. I figured I would make the mini omelets also with some bell peppers, chez, and little bacon. Lordy knows I have bell peppers right now. Tons of them. Just cooked down two huge pots of tomatoes, peppers, onions, few jalapenos, etc...gonna run it through my food mill and voila...tomato sauce.

Don't forget salsa!
I have made so much salsa!
We use it all year, besides just eating with chips, you can use it as a topper on burritos & omelettes, and I even add a jar to the slow cooker over a cut up chicken or add to jasmine rice to make Spainish rice!
The new rage is "Texas Caviar"
It is:
Black eyed peas
chopped tomatoes
Chopped cucumber and/or Jicama
Couple cut ears of corn (or cans)
Few (4-5) diced yellow onion
Bell peps chopped
jalapenos chopped fine and add diced green chilis or Pasillo chilis (roast & peel) diced.
Couple quarts of Snappy Tom, V-8 or straight tomatoe juice...
All in a SS pot, heat to almost a boil..
Then jar & water bath to "can"

I had 2 daughters, both ran into a corner wall and made a hole in their foreheads (not at the same time). The holes looked like bullet wounds. If the doc wasn't a family friend, I reckon he would have turned us in for child abuse.
You simply CANNOT baby proof a house!
