I have a small dog crate you could use if you want to separate a couple of them out. Maybe someone has a bigger dog crate.
Could be a long week!

Now is when it would be cool to have a little chicken tractor, so they could at least be out on the grass. Sometimes I take one out and sit outside for a little while, but I am too afraid to let them loose.

Is he coming out to eat?
Poor kitty.

I took him to the vet this morning. Charlie has a cold. We're to watch him. If he doesn't improve in a couple of days, we're to call back.

I'm not fond of going to the vet. My allergies really act up there.

Well, three down and two to go, sort of- not counting the sheep, who got a little bit of alfalfa pellets. Came in to BG too low to take insulin before I eat lunch, oops... just now sitting dow to what you could call a steak quesadilla if you had very low standards.

Four down, rather: my husband fed the young wyandottes on his way out, my daughter did the first round of baby care while she was feeding the quadrupeds. I've already had to top off their water (and need to go water Ian and Sylvia as soon as lunch settles, check Elvis, and feed Malvina her morning course.

Today's extra EXTRA task was installing a hanging feeder for the Hamburgs; yesterday I noticed that their ground-feed pan had large size rodent poop in it, so that was no good. Also, ugh. I have to do some other stuff involving plastic and bungie cords on their run and the hoop house today so I won't be figuring out how to set a rat zapper for the culprits until tomorrow.

I have a dog crate you could borrow, too.

so where are you finally getting your coop at????

Here they are...shelf in focus, chickens not so much. They now know that I provide the worms. The Delaware, in spite of often being at the front, is never fast enough to get any worms when I'm handing them out. I have to take her out and give her a couple.

Ron, you are always so helpful.
I may just bring you a chicken as a thank you.
You don't mind if it's never laid an egg in over a year, do you?
She sure is a pretty gold laced Wyandotte.
Chicken eye candy but no eggs. (and no crowing either!)
