....

they coyote AND bobcat both killed chickens last night.... and the bobcat jumps 5ft fences.
with the snow and lack of money i cannot build or turn my coops into prisons.....

i need 4 coyotes and a bobcat dead.... never thought i would say that.....

they killed the Boss rooster.... John's favorite rooster the naked neck.... and i don't know who else is missing......

should i call fish and game to double check about killing the critters or is it better to just deal with it?

Isn't there a way to lock them in the coops at night? That way you would only have to deal with them in the day time. Sooo sorry about your chickens.

So Clover.....seen or heard from Birdnbeasts lately ?
Is she OK ?
I have not heard from her for 3-4 days~~~

I got the downed & snowed on netting all cut off, balled up & tossed in the garbage......through the 6" of margarita slush.

Barely kept from slipping...
Got 3 coop poop trays cleaned of 2" thick of poop

Almost had ammonia~~~~~~not good for birds at all !
So 4 coops of birds are out right now...first time in 4 days & all are fine.

Got 3 more coops to clean........poop trays only but had to come in & warm up as mittens were all soaking wet with ice water from the netting...feets is hurting dispite the warm boots as when hands get cold, feet & hands BOTH turn blue & blood is cut off when you have Raynaud's..........soaking in warm water is extremely painful but the only way to warm up.

Now, to get ready for the 50 MPH winds..........

X 2.mine are locked up tight, even with thumb clips so even racoons cannot finaggle the doors open.
And I would just deal with it, a long time ago !

they are also killing during the day.... cause the one rooster that was killed he is in the main coop at night. Coyote goes by 9am... bobcat image was at 3pm. I just can't keep everyone locked in the coop all the time.... and these predators know there is a food source, even if locked in for a week.... they pace the fence. i got images... and that bobcat jumps the fence.

OK I am soooo ready to just lock the doors and we stay in the house until this cackle spackle is gone. Down I went. And it wasn't even the garbage it was a snow plow. Now they are getting serious.

You really need to stop spillin yourself all over the playce mate. That's a good share of ground your compacting there. Must be more careful!
