I'm happy for you that your puddytat came home. He was out romancin' the ladies I betcha!
He is pretty darn charming! But we had his man-parts removed 4 years ago, so I imagine he doesn't get too far in the romancin' department

Perhaps you can cut down on the amount of twine by adding flat ribbons to the twine or would that also stress the chickens?
Are you coming to the meet-up tomorrow (Friday) at Third Place Books? (11:00 a.m.)I noticed that my Orpington has a red rashy looking spot on the backs of both feet. Any ideas whether this is something I should be worried about. Still perching and walking fine.
Willow laid her first egg for us today! It's a teensy fart egg but SO bright blue!! Hoping they get bigger with time again. Are you coming to the meet-up tomorrow (Friday) at Third Place Books? (11:00 a.m.)
Ron would itbe possible to put twine criss cross over the run??? I can get lots of hay twine and we could have a knot tying class to put it together. I could come help ya the weekend after Salem show. Just let me know!!
There are some young people on these boards who don't know much yet. Don't be too hard on them. Then again, some people just aren't as bright as others. Why do some people have chickens? ugh! I just replied on a forum where someone was feeding their chickens scratch for feed and were worried about why they weren't laying yet at only 21 weeks. I told him/her first to feed the chickens real chicken food, not treats, and that it's normal for chickens not to be laying quite yet at 21 weeks. She asked about their crowns getting red and I had to tell her it's a comb/wattles. Do people really just jump right into hobbies without reading anything at all? I feel so sorry for her animals!
