I designed and built the entire thing. It all started as 20' sticks of 1 1/2 0.95 tubing. And I built the engine too it was a stock VW 1600 but when I rebuilt it I put a little bigger jugs and slugs so it is now a whopping 1641. I have the smallest engine in the group but am looking for a Jetta or rabbit engine.

I came online tonight to tell y'all that my birds are better yet, although 2 or so still cough.
The lab vet/PhD e-mailed again and said there is no ILT...just MG.
He advised to continue the treatment I have been on.
Histology would show nothing we are interested in, there is no ILT as ILT is a virus and if they had it, they would have no responded to antibiotic treatment of any kind.
The doc said there is no physical evidence of ILT, but I am going to vaccinate.
It is the lingering effects of MG that scare me.
Will my pullets lay ?
Will their reproductive tracts be messed up from MG disease ?
Will this be shed and I will have to endure outbreaks of this applesauce for years from these birds shedding this disease off on newly hatched ?
Lots of questions to deal with as we move on now...
I started my birds on Tetracycline, and after a week stopped, and they fell again, I changed to Sulphamet in order not to duplicate the treatment,, and they got worse and worse and that was the point where I lost 4 birds.
Going back on Duramycin (Tetracycline) started us back in the right direction but by then some birds were really, really ill.
My bad.
Going onto Tylan is a god send, and I thank Redroosters and Tailfeatherz1 again for their help there.
And how goes the fencing Redroo???
Got sore fingers yet??
I had one friend staple razor sharp fish hooks all over his fence posts due to predators...(nasty there)

But I must say...the Pink space suits and goggles, and dog equipment are so awesome, you should have gotten Grand Prize for the entire production, matching suits, dog harness and all.
Awesome, we have to come see it one day !!!

He is definately lucky! I'm very glad he didn't take his entire hand... Sheesh!!! The kid is an up and coming welder, he works on halibut and crab boats, and logs with my unkle... If he would have amputated his entire hand, he would have had to rethink his career choices. lol Its a HUGE relief to know that he is "ok" My aunt is still histericle, but I can understand.

So now I am exhausted. Time for bed. G'night everyone.

Night sweetie, and remember that without the thumb, you are but a lower life form: like a dog or cat ...we are happy tonight, and so glad he is ALIVE!!!
If I were you, I would still grab him and spank him hard for scaring us all so bad.
And are they going to sew it back on ???
I cut all 3 of my 4 fingers off on the right hand, the index half through.
I had to have microsurgery to tie the tendons all back together, out of 3 C-sections, and hysterectomon-eee, and others, the tendonal hand surgery is the worst, most painful in my life.
And it barely works, yet I still paint my watercolors....y'all should see the elk, and other paintings 1, 2 and grand prize at the fair...on display at Bank of the Pacific in Raymond.
The reason I can still paint, is that the forefinger works halfway, and most important, the thumb works fine.
Thumbs, seperate us from all living animals but racoons, monkeys and the like !!

Instead of "quoting" I am just commenting on all:

Regarding your cousin....I agreee, spank him for scaring us all. Hopefully now he knows to be a bit more careful, but thank God he is okay. He gave us all a good scare. I hope his sister (at your house) is relieved and doing okay.

Regarding the pink car thing (sorry don't know what to call it officially)...I have but one word:

WOW!!!!! I like pink and you are pink. The other cars are neat too.

Chickielady: I am glad chickens are getting better...I have no answers for you as I am too new back to chickens and have no ideas. I hope you get all your questions answered.

Also, As far as we can tell, no one else has been stung and are all just fine. Everday when I let them out to free range I stand in their doorway and look closely at all 13 as they walk past me...to look for signs. Hubby likes to sit in the yard and give them all a treat...they come and sit in his lap (well he says he only had 6 or 8 of them in his lap) and he checks them out very day.

Everyone have a good day.

I have been torturing my chickens in the morning....I have been sleeping with windows open. I can see my hen house and run from my kitchen window. All the girls are out and hanging out around the door to be let loose. From the kitchen window I say something like "Good morning Girls" or "Hello Ladies"....they all run and hover at the "exit door" and make their little grumbly sounds...."Let us out, Let us out, Let us out"....It is funny. I'm mean.

The Pink thing is called a "SAND RAIL" and as the name says it is for crusing around the sand dunes. The pics just don't do justice to the color it is VERY BRIGHT.

Those are special ordered tye dyed hoodie sweat shirts. We also have a guy with a lime green and another with flourescent orange and they also have matching hoodies. The dog (Quincy) also wears a pink bandana round his neck.
