Kitsap county does not concider poultry as live stock so they have no ordinace for it? I am soooo suprised at that article in the paper as there are some people who think it will lower their property values.

Ya, I was shocked too when I read it this morning

How can they not consider them livestock

Obviously the people that think that it will lower property values haven't been to some of the BYC backyards

Besides that have you seen some of the properties out there. Some of them make our mobile look good!

Exactly

More and more now days you see property filled with tons of garbage and no one thinks anything of it....but the second someone wants to be self sufficient and raise chickens then someone squawks about it

They were not even talking about haveing roosters.

My BOs sure have learned the chicken song. Sheesh! I bet the neighbors are wondering wth is going on over at my house. Better start the bribing.

Beautiful roo, looks just like my "Gallo" when he was younger. Now he's even more handsome with his longer tail and saddle feathers

I'd take him off your hands if I had the space. At this point, though, there's no way. I have an order of chicks coming in a couple weeks and will be overrun! Some are straight run, too.

Whoever was looking for EE pullets, I'm getting some extra EE chicks with my order. Just a few, but if you want a couple, let me know. I'd raise them to 2 months old for you, if you want. I'm doing that for a friend of mine anyway, as some of the chicks will be for her and she doesn't want to brood them. Only problem is that I'm way down in Mossyrock, which is pretty far for most on here...
