I finally feel good about letting my girls out all day. My veetable garden now has a temp fence around it, to protect if from my birds, and we have the 6' cyclone fence around the yard to protect the birds.

My tomatoes and peppers are safe from the birdies.

Did you guys have problems with the BYC forum yesterday? Mine showed it was down and I got a virus on my computer, which I believe I got from BYC forum. Anyone else have a problem? DH wants me to tell the moderator...not sure why...don't even know who the moderator is. Moderator are you out there?

If you came here yesterday before the maintenance announcement went up and your virus software didn't say anything I suggest you down load...........

I'm on another forum where top computer experts are who hate MSFT yet will tell you their FREE software is the best anti virus software out there.
Sure enough it caught the problem the second I came to BYC.

It's not only free but easy to use and set up.

that was our girl Cheryl that conked herself with the pounder-downer !! Poor thing, and now her cuz-in has eliminated his thumb splitting wood, seems to me there is a generic trace of clumsiness here.....

I had no problem with a virus...nor a problem logging on, etc...but I was only on early.
Who in their right mind would want to hack into the BYC forum ????? Cuckoo People out there.
Our moderatoe is Terrie Lacey, and I am sure she /they are aware of the problem.
I got no virus but was last on at 12:29...I also have Microsoft/Norton/and Spybot.
What time did this virus hit ??

Here's the info about the attack yesterday. Nifty and the rest of the staff were on it pretty fast. I think it was chookschick in Kansas who got the word to Terrielacey, who then closed BYC, BYH, TEG and SS.
There's lots of good advice if you are computer illiterate like I am.

Hey now! He's only my cousin By marriage! And my Unkle hasn't married his mom yet. So

What I don't get is how I can handle 1200 lbs animals with out so much as a scratch, but I pick up a stupid 12 pound post driver, and I clean knock myself out!

Thats just a little backwards don't you think? I still have yet to use the post driver, my family doesnt want me using it anymore.

OMGosh we are related...I almost knocked myself out with a post hole digger... Gave myself an egg on the temple...yep the temple the soft part....I stagged like a drunk when it hit me.... I was using the kind that have a handle on top that corkscrew into the ground...Held it like a javenline to pitch it over the fence when I was done... Gave it a full blast send off and the handle hit the corner of the barn and it came at me like a bullet knocking me sideways about 5 feet...

And I break horses for a living.. Geez... We must be family.

It has something to do with horse breakers too, which I used to do, for 30 years but not no more !

And I managed 30 years of horse breakin w/o conkin myself with the pounder-downer !
