Sadiesue and cheryl, just letting you know I won't be needing a ride to the show. Thanks you so much for offering and getting back to me. I've decided to drive myself since I will be picking up Heathers little calico cockerel. Also going to make a few stops.

For those of you who live in Monroe, is the Monroe feed store close to the fairgrounds? also, someone mentioned they have leg bands there and wondered what kind/kinds they have.

Chicky, those bands you have that are numbered and you use the tool for, did you order those on line or get them locally? How did the inspection go?

CL - Wow, that is "stoopido"! I guess she has never baked a thing in her life unless it came from a box of Betty Crocker!

DD's skin looks much better, and her tummy has shrunk quuite a bit (she's still chunky, but now that her tummy is not so big, she looks much better!)

I already mated the Sussex hen with my Shamo tonight. Boy it was kinda sad to watch - She was so incredibly huge, he couldn't actually get up ontop of her, so I had to step in and give him a boost up.

Eventually he got the job done twice, but honestly, she's got so much fluff I doubt it went successfully. I took her inside to trim around her vent, so next time should hopefully be successful. I'll check the eggs for a while before setting any.

In my barn here I sit on line and watch auctions and communicate with others and buy/sell and ship my eggs/birds here and there, without my little office I could not communicate with all the auctions or buy/sell eggs or birds I want or want to sell...I also have boxes, and BIG rolls of bubble wrap and stuffing strewn over the bed..and stacks of paperwork and magazines and books from the SPPA and SOP and ALBC.....as well as all my personal 3-ring binders of my own breeds and records....and the rabbit biz too..He looked at all, and I had alot of antibiotics, Tylan, wormer, waxzine and Neomycin packs , alcohol and betadine all in front of our food shelves...I pointed out that we had to care for these birds and we have medications for them.
He said, AND THE REFRIDGERATOR???
I opened it to show him STACKS of egg cartons, and I whipped out a big bottle of Marek's vaccine...so see ? I cannot by law. wash eggs and not store them in a refrdg. and my vaccines are in here too....and after we vaccinate, the bottle gets incinerated, in that burn barrel outside, it is illegal to dump it in the garbage....just then the Zgoatlady BCM eggs peeped & were zipping, so he looked and was smiling, then he went outside into the hatching room & saw all the structure, the simpson ties and supports and the baby chicks in there (droves of them) both guys were loving the babies...what better protection than they ? and the big incubators,,.....so...............yes this is my business, and yes I need my office & all, so he asked me, You aren't living here are you?
I laughed, are you kidding ?
We live in Elma with my parents (an equal story fed by DH to the other inspector)
So they know, and before they walked away I asked them do I have to move my incubators & chicks and computer out in the rain now ?
he said no...let's just hurry up and get you (your business) into the new building that is inspected, but no, you cannot live there..and yes I said we don't (but we do and I got to go>>>)
Think they could really toss me and all these baby chicks OUT ?
And where does it say I can only work day shift? I have chicks pipping and incubators going 24/7...I have to be here...OK, just do not sleep he said.
You cannot sleep here..then it is a residence, and I am tired & gonna go eat and sleep now, in my car right outside

Sour Cream is not supposed to have gluten! It is a dairy product. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I found SUSHI with wheat gluten thrown in it.

Oh I am so glad DD is getting better, just went through this same thing with a friend's insane itching dog...suddenly glossy, no damdruff, no itching, no """hot spots""" no freaking out and jumping all over furniture..NO wheat

That phoney fish/crab SUSHIMI product does have wheat in it as a thickener and also some has MSG=gluten
