Oh my gosh I had a great time yesterday.
I would be talking to one person than go to the next person and go Oh Oh I know you. It was hard keeping everyone straight.
I think we need to meet again where we can all talk like in the middle so its not so far for eveyone to go.
I came home with 5 silkie chicks 3 buff and 2 lav. My husband said today he just love's them.

Just wait he gets to build another coop for them lol.
I woke up last night and thought about it.

I had a great time yesterday too! It was nice meeting most of you guys.

I got home around 10 last night, it was a long drive doing it back to back for a one day show. I had lots of fun and at the next show I will assign Jeanine the table longer so I can have more fun.....

Sadie, they may like some crumbles better to eat. They have been on flock raiser. It will probably take them a couple full days to get used to their new environment.

Thank you Jean. Actually, they do have crumbles, not pellets. I'll stop fussing over them then. They sure are pretty girls. Thank you again for them. We love them already.

OK so I think we need to see the "mug shots that some took yesterday !!! Of course by the time that was happening I had already packed my camera in my luggage that was securely stowed on the south bound bus.
I am amazed they don't chick the birds. When we showed pygmy goats the club that was hosting had people at the door to check for visual signs of illness or parasites. If they did this with the birds it could help reduce spread of ?? AND it could keep from wasting the judges time by having to look just to DQ for things that should have NEVER come in the door. Just MHO !!!!

ETA Ok after yesterday I have been thinking. Does anybody know what they may charge for a "vender space" like to sell some of my junk.

I don't know...but I bet you could make a killing at a show like Stevenson...I sold one of the five chicken necklaces I brought yesterday which I hung above my sale bird cages and no one said anything.

I think it would be reasonable....I can't imagine a little show like Monroe wanting to charge very much....

CR
Vendor space's vary place by place. I have one in Enumclaw this summer for 2 or 3 days cant remember now but its 125. I think, if its a coner space its more. With your stuff you'd want a coner spot. I do coners once in a while.
You can also find some at schools for as low at 25 for a 6x6 space, it just really varys..
What Id like to find is some one maybe be you that could take some of my product and Id take some of yours and we could be two place's at one time... Just a thought plus it brings more people in your booth if you have a few different things.. But I tell you your stuff is GRRRRRRRReat!!!
To do street fairs you need a ID# oh you know just PM me and I can help you get started..

Yes I am surprised they don't have someone checking birds at the door....or a vet on scene to pull ones that are obviously sick.

BTW--I meant to come and find you and ask about making me one of those big signs like the duck one you did...

So do other bird shows have a vet check? I think if they did this they would get way more birds at the show. I know I wont take mine anyplace that doesnt.
With the ADGA goat shows there is almost always a vet check, if not I wont go.... To much can go wrong.
