it was late and the math seemed off but i was too tired to understand why. for all i knew it was right chicken math. the chickens free range and catch mice. people squirm when i tell them thats one of their sources of protein... for some reason everyone thinks chickens are vegetarians.....
I was just wondering. there is alot of cool things on craigslist in the spokane area.
so they would get more nutrients if i bought a used food processor and had the oats chopped or powdered and just add water???
soon it will be cherry season and my chickens will have the runs (they are fed most of the culls from the fruitstand and vegetables. i would feed them 2 cherry lugs a day ~20-30Lbs each, or when they cleaned one out i would provide a new one... then lawnmower up all the cherry pits otherwise you would slip and break something....), but they will be laying really good eggs.
hmm. i wonder how much protein is in powdered beef stock, or if there is a powdered form of meat that could be mixed in the oat feed.... if there were legume grain in the area i would of mixed that in because those have alot of protein.
