Very nice people and I felt like I was really rude. I had to call Pette63 and apologize. She and her BF were very nice and I wished I could have talked to them longer. I agree, I think they would have asked to use the indoor outhouse...but still I didn't even offer. And because of who I am...I will stress and worry over this....
....so someone else, or Pette63, needs to come to my house so I can practice my manners. I will even let you dig a post hole if you would like - then show you where I want the fence hung - the coop swept out.....

I know not to worry about it...but it is what I do best.

I am home and Charlie soclded me throughly and gave me many kisses

My fish tank and fish survived the long drive.... I watched Charlie watch my Fish as they watched Him. I don't think he realized what they were.
The incubator looks ok for now. I will look into it more tomorrow. My brain is dead.

I had to try and read 850 pages of my plant propation text book because when I was studying for another class with someone on Wednesday... it seems i left my biology notes and all my plant prop. lectures, labs, and notes.... so i had to try and read the whole textbook hoping i will remember something.

The exam turned out to contain alot about plant hormones... so even if i did have my notes it still wouldn't of gone as well as planned.... shame i was intending this to be my second best exam, it still might be, but not as well as i wanted.

Done and Done. I am a Senior now. Summer break starts tomorrow.... now if only the weather will agree with this statement.... then again by monday/tuesday we are expecting 75 degree days... soo...

Well, I am expecting to have the worst weekend ever. My brother, his wife and their little boy are up from Yakima. She wants to go out for Mother's Day...there is no place all that great in Omak to eat a brunch or breakfast...so she makes reservations at Sun Mtn. $30 a person...well for my family of 5 and pay my part for my parents I am looking at nearly $200. I can't afford that...DH says no way. reservations canceled. My dad (who is an a**) says we will just make it ourselves (I don't want to cook on Mother's Day). He yells a bunch of obsenities and tells me he will do it all...mind you he cannot hardly stand for more than 5 minutes...he has back problems. My parent's house should be on that Hoarders show.

So I am ordering some party trays and doing a bit of chopping and slicing tomorrow. Both my boys will be gone or I would have them help me slice and dice. We will have it at my house with me doing as minimal cooking as possible.

So, my SIL is now perterbed at me...I would love to go to Sun Mtn....but I can't afford that. It's crazy. So, I am sure that SIL and my dad will not be speaking to one another. It will be stressful. My mother (at some point) will start crying over the tension. Oh, lovely...it is going to be SUCH a good weekend.

So is anybody familiar with the OLD original "Delicious" or "Red Delicious" Apple. As I recall grandma telling... the apples are not all red like the ones in the store. They are mor of a light red and whiteish. The flavor is very much like the store ones but much better. Well there is one on Michelles place. It is in bad need of some help. So her step dad who has plant knowledge is going to try to do some I think he said air grafting? And asked if I want one of the trees . Heck yeah !!!!

On the other hand, my Mom's parents moved to Yelm in 1919 (Mom was born at her grandparent's house, because my grandmother and her sisters were all gathered there to can peaches), and my Dad's great-grandparents came to Union Mills in the 1890s, so this is where I am.

I wish there were poultry shows in those two towns because I'd like an excuse to visit them again! I can go to Elma any old time.

wonderful, beautiful story/family tree telling. Who was the great-aunt who ran the motel? which motel? Bridgeport is one of the top 3 finalists of high schools to have President Obama speak at for their graduation ceremony. Did any of you know that? I won't talk the poliltics as everyone's thoughts are different and I don't want to get into it or start something...but I think that this is kinda cool for tiny Bridgeport. Although, I do feel Bridgeport has become a bit of a hub for the drug trafficing that happens in our area (just my personal opinion for what it is worth). Bridgeport HS will find out on Monday (I believe) if they got it or not.

I've been wracking my brain trying to remember Auntie Sybil's married name; it was the Omak Motel, I think the only one in town when she ran it, or at least the only one the opposite side of town from the Stampede grounds.

I remember hearing that about Bridgeport- both the president speaking there, and that it's (still, according to stories I remember) a drug center.

King is my absolute favorite! Just planted one in our orchard last year.
