Jen, if you need eggs to put under your broodies ... I'd love to see what mine hatch out as ...
EEs from Privett ... pullets are your basic duckwings, roo is kinda special, is carrying either Columbian or Dominant White, which is why I want to see what chickies look like (I posted a pic a couple weeks back)
Dana (SadieSue) has some of mine under her broody, should be hatching within the next week or so ... but I have lots of eggs, getting five or six a day and I'm the only one in the family eating eggs ... got pink, olive-drab, turquoise, aquamarine, and 2 different shades of green
Yep, she's still setting on them. I've been incredibly busy lately and super tired as a result, so haven't had much time to fool with either the broody or the eggs. I did get the 16 week olds moved into the big coop with the hens so just need to have a little time to thoroughly clean out the mini coop in anticipation of hatching chicks.
I'm in day 5 of 14 days straight at the theater as we move into tech week and dress rehearsals. I sat with the director and light designer today while we worked out light cues on paper. Tomorrow we run those cues with actors onstage, then begin running the show with sound and lights while I call the show from the booth with a light board operator. The next few days are going to be pretty nerve wracking while we work out any rough spots, and we open for real audience a week from tonight!
This is a fantastic show and I'm pleased to be associated with it but I'm kind of looking forward to having my life back.
